Dear Raymond,

I would like to compliment you on your fabulous staff.

On Wednesday last week (23 September) I called your offices (after finding you on the internet) to hire a vehicle as I couldn’t find any through the usual vendors. Everyone was fully booked.
I needed a car for one day (Friday) as I was attending a funeral.

Bianca took my call and did her utmost to assist me in obtaining a car (apparently it was the last one on the lot!).

She was courteous & professional throughout our exchange. Even going the extra mile to make sure I did not have to trek through to your Cape Town offices late on Thursday night to sign paperwork. She agreed to arrange for the driver to complete all the forms at the airport.

On arrival late Thursday night I was met by O’Brien. I was extremely wary of what the procedures would be and who would be waiting for me at the other end.

But in fact it was an awesome experience. O’Brien was friendly, efficient and professional. He assisted me with all the paperwork, explained drop off procedures, extra insurance costs, etc. He even graciously agreed to drive me out of your extremely confusing airport!

When I returned the car on Friday afternoon he even remembered where I had said I was going and was concerned enough to ask how things went. Excellent customer service!

He is indeed an asset to your company.

Thank you so much for turning my sad experience into a comfortable one. I didn’t have to worry about the car side of things at all, just concentrate on the funeral.

I understand the pressure your staff must have been under this particular weekend and I commend them and yourselves as management for their professionalism.

I work at a college and I teach marketing and customer care and I will certainly use your company as an example of good customer service.

Just a short note to thank you for the friendly attitude and professional way you handled our rental car requirements.
 
The car was superb and we had no problems whatsoever. We filled it with petrol but when we delivered it to Tempest rental at O. Tambo airport it was between 3/4 and full. We took the car to a car wash prior to dropping it off so the attendant could confirm it was unmarked; not even a stone chip . Which was amazing considering the mileage.

As mentioned when we first made contact, we travel a lot and use rentals frequently. Our experience with you has been right up there with the very best so please feel free to use this testimonial if need be.

es hat alles bestens geklappt!!! Eure Leute sind absolut prima. Wir reisen ja nicht zum ersten Mal nach S.A.

Haben aber zum ersten Mal über Internet direkt vor Ort ein Auto bebucht. Wir benötigten ja auch nur einen kleine  Flizter!!! jedoch zwei Mal, da dazwischen eine Tour nach Namibia lag.

Der Intercape kam uach zu spät an, viel zu spät, aber eure Leute und das Auto waren da!!!! Bitte gebt Ihnen auch nochmals das Feedback!!!! Sie waren echt prima!!!!!

We want to tell you that this time we get really good service. The lady who helped us knew what she was doing and within 15 minutes we were on the go with our car and papers! They gave us an upgrade which was lovely. The cover for the boot was not in the car and later that day it was delivered to our hotel! We were impressed!
 
After complaining we felt we also have to tell you when we are happy! Unfortunately we can not remember her name.

In February of this year I was planning to be in South Africa and an extended stay in Cape Town for business from Dubai where I live. I asked a friend in Pretoria to recommend a car hire company, as I would be in SA for two or three months. He recommended your company.

We initially did have some communications problems with emails, as I believe the email address we had was a general one and maybe not all the emailed were received or read. Certainly we were close to giving up at that stage, as the initial communications were most frustrating.

When I arrived in Joberg I was provided with a National Car at the airport arranged by your Cape Town office, which was excellent. It was so good I decided to drive that Car to Cape Town. By then I had spoken to Lyn on the phone and she arranged that I have a smaller car for the month or so I was in Cape Town. This proved to be an excellent solution.

The service from your office was very good indeed and Lyn went out of her way to make sure that everything was OK with the car and the pickup and drop off.

I think I had more than two months rental from your company or with National via your company. It was always a pleasure to speak to your office and Lyn and the other staff made sure that I was always provided with fast service and a good car.

Overall I am most impressed with Aroundaboutcars and certainly it was Lyn as the main interface to customers who turned around a situation that did not have a good start to one which made my extended stay in the Cape and South Africa much more enjoyable and worry free.

I will certainly recommend your company to friends coming to SA and will use you again when I am in South Africa next summer. I would like to thank Lyn and the other staff I met in the Cape Town office for their assistance and excellent service.
